XXXI archaeology at the Sala Mercado

Veleño artist Eduardo Roberto is presenting his latest work at the Sala Mercado in Plaza de La Ermita, Nerja, from today, Friday February 4th, until February 25th.

The exhibition is entitled ‘XXI Century Archaeology’ and features a number of sheet metal and aluminium pieces half-buried in sand, representing what future archaeologists will find relating to our era.

The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00.

Eduardo Roberto was born in Vélez-Málaga en 1968 and has dedicated his life to the arts: theatre, television, poetry, painting and sculpture.

He studied Dramatic Art in Barcelona and Arts and Crafts in Málaga, although he has taught himself much of his craft. Roberto has exhibited his work in his home town, Torre del Mar, Torrox, Málaga, Churriana, Granada, Madrid, Gerona, Santa Coloma de Gramanet and in New York in 1996 as part of a group exhibition.
