On Monday June 22nd at 18:00 in the Sala Mercado. Plaza de la Ermita, is the inauguration of an exhibition of drawings made by students throughout the school year.
New book by Francisco Guerrero López
The writer Francisco Guerrero López, from Torre del Mar, has presented his new novel called ‘El doble de Picasso’ at the Sala Mercado, where there is currently an exhibition entitled ‘Los Carteles de Picasso’ .
VIII Jornadas Educativas de Convivencia Intercultural
For the next three days, until Friday May 10th, the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel (Plaza de la Ermita) is home to the VIII Jornadas Educativas de Convivencia Intercultural -Educational Conference on Intercultural Living.
Sala Mercado now a play area for kids
The Sala Mercado in Plaza de la Ermita has, as usual, been turned into a giant play area for kids over the Christmas period. It is open in the evenings until the end of the school term and then throughout the day up until January 9th 2013.
‘Ventanas del mundo’ at the Sala Mercado

The ceramics exhibition by Amalia G. del Moral at the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel is open Monday to Saturday from 17:00 to 21:00 with some interesting pieces on display and descriptions of the process used in each case.
Photo exhibition by Fernando Marcos
There is an exhibition of photos on at the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel from now until October 28th. The exhibition is entitled ‘Cinematografías y cuerpos en ocres’ – Film and bodies in ochre – and is the work of Fernando Marcos, winner of the World Press Photo award in 2002.
Ceramics exhibition at the Sala Mercado
From now until August 5th there is an exhibition of ceramic art by Virgilio at the Sala Mercado in Plaza de la Ermita, Nerja.
FLAMPA competition entries on show at the Sala Mercado
Last Friday at the Sala Mercado was Fiesta FLAMPA (Local Federation of Associations of Parents and Teachers in Nerja) which included the presentation of prizes for various children’s competitions, such as painting, poetry and short stories.
