The Costas Traders Group offers English-speaking (though not necessarily British companies) the opportunity to meet their potential clients face-to face. They operate from Nerja to Estepona, and shortly will expect to be offering an event a week throughout that area.
They are open to all exhibitors, from all trades and the style is particularly well designed for those more unusual trades, and those without their own shop-fronts.
NO business is too small or insignificant to profit significantly from the experience of a public exhibition! Just ONE new client may pay for the cost several times over. In one of our French exhibitions – we watched (admittedly with some incredulity!) – a specialist sausage maker take €3000 worth of orders in one day!! She said that she hadn’t taken that much in one month before!!
And do NOT underestimate the value of simple exposure. Face to face with a potential client can enthuse confidence. Even if they only walk away with your card – they will remember you when they need your particular product – AND they HAVE your card.
When they talk to you later they will feel that they almost know you!
The need for this kind of show is clear when there are over 300,000 permanent expatriate residents in the Costa del Sol area alone. Each of whom contributes to a tremendous spending power on the Costas.
