The Councillor for Environment, José Miguel Jimena, has announced the start of work to build a park along the rio Chillar.
The budget for the project is €50,000 and it is being financed through FEESL. The completion period of the works has been set at one month.
It will be a small recreation area with plants and trees on a site which has always been blighted by the dumping of rubbish.

How fantastic, tourists love the opportunity to walk within a local attraction and if it is accessable to all walks of life then well done nerja. A nature walk is something that attracts all groups of the community from the childrens schools group to the tourist wanting the nerja local experience. if there is a nature walk along the Rio Chillar then I believe it will appeal to a large group of society. I cant wait to experience the walk myself during the summer vacation.
