The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, yesterday reaffirmed his willingness to allow the Nerja History Museum to open without either an opening licence or licence of first occupation.
The Mayor stated that the Council is, as it has been doing for many years, allowing any employer who starts up a business to actual begin operating immediately and apply for the necessary municipal permits in parallel.
At the same time, the mayor called for the resignation of the manager of the Nerja Caves Foundation, Ángel Ramírez.
