GENA – Ecologists in Action lodge objection to new PGOU

The environmental group GENA – Ecologists in Action has lodged objections to the proposed new PGOU for Nerja which is currently on display at the Nerja Cultural Centre in calle Granada.

GENA – Ecologists in action believe that the new PGOU does not comply with the growth parameters as laid down by the POTA (Spatial Plan of the Axarquia) as it contemplates an expansion in developable land of 180% and a population increase in the region of 150%.

The draft PGOU is on display in the Nerja Cultural Centre until April 8th to allow public viewing and for anyone to make comments or objections to the document.
