Search for missing immigrants

Marine Service and Guardia Civil patrols are continuing an air and sea search for up to twenty illegal immigrants feared missing after their boat began to sink.

Around thirty immigrants were rescued from the sinking boat about twenty miles off the Granada coast. Three bodies have so far been found, those of a man and two children thought to be aged about three years and one year.

The boat was capable of carrying around fifty people, suggesting that as many as twenty people could have fallen into the water.
