PC City closes today in Andalucia

The three stores in Andalucia belonging to PC City are closing down today, these not being amongst the eight outlets being taken over by the Portuguese group Sonae.

There are a total of 34 PC City stores in Spain, employing over 1,200 people. PC City announced its intention of closing down its operations in Spain on April 14th. The Portuguese group Sonae, which owns the Worten consumer electronics chain, has taken over the outlets in Madrid (3), Barcelona (2), Tenerife (1), Palma de Mallorca (1) and Pamplona (1).

The closure of PC City España does not affect their guarantees and obligations to customers and they will ensure compliance with all service agreements and programs.

The three stores in Andalucia, in Sevilla, Málaga and El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), employed around 350 people.
