A 36 year old resident of Pulianas, Granada province, died on Monday afternoon while working in the industrial area of Carboneras, Almería.
The man was cutting a large slab of concrete when it fell on him. Medics tried to revive him but he died from his injuries.
An investigation is under way to establish the exact circumstances of the accident.
