The number of registered unemployed in Andalucia fell by 1,517 in July when compared to the previous month, a decline of 0.17%.
There are now 908,548 registered unemployed in Andalucia. Nationally, unemployment in July fell by 42,059 (1.02%) and now stands at 4,079,472.
The decrease was expected due to the start of the main tourist season but the decline was less than in previous years. Although unemployment in the services sector decreased, the construction and agricultural sectors withnessed an increase in the number out of work.
