El Pulguilla on calle Cristo is undoubtedly up there amongst the best tapas bars in Nerja. Spacious, vibrant, good service, wide range of delicious tapas and it is even air conditioned. On this occasion I opted for some ‘bacalao’, usually translated as ‘cod’.
The bacalao was well cooked but the sauce…absolutely divine. The taste just lingered, and lingered. I know it had garlic in it, but apart from that, no idea. Superb. A beer and a tapa, €1.60.
