The Council is trying to encourage local associations to register on the Municipal Register of Associations, highlighting the benefits of doing so.
The benefits are:
- The possibility of receiving financial aid to the extent permitted by the Council budget.
- The possibility to use municipal facilities if these are not being used by other associations, organisations or the municipal departments.
- A free website with a direct link from the municipal website.
A total of fourteen associations have so far registered themselves and five already have a free website.
Associations wishing to register should contact the Municipal Office of Citizen Services on the ground floor of the Town Hall between 10:00 and 14:00 Monday to Friday.
