A ten month old girl was locked in a nursery school in Córdoba for an hour after an ‘oversight’ by the monitor.
Most of the families picked up their children at four o’clock but the family of the one girl didn’t normally arrive until four thirty. Unfortunately, the monitor forgot this and locked up the nursery with the girl still in her seat.
When the parents arrived they found the nursery all locked up and had to call the fire brigade to break down the door.
The parents were very upset by the incident but have received an apology from the monitor who was also greatly affected by the oversight.
