The Council is planning to replace all the damaged trees between Torrox and Maro and along avenida Alcalde Antonio Villasclaras, about fifty trees in total.
Most of the trees have been destroyed by vandalism, particularly on the Nerja to Maro section of the N-340 during the San Isidro celebrations.
The new trees are from the nurseries of the provincial government.
