The AEN is organising a ‘Christmas Window’ competition to encourage local businesses to decorate the facades of their shops over Christmas with a top prize of €1,000.
Due to the difficulty in raising funds for Christmas lighting in many of the streets in the centre of town, the AEN thought it would be a good idea to organise a competition to encourage shops to have special bright and colourful window displays.
The first prize is €1,000, second prize €500 and third prize €300.
