Police in Rincón de la Victoria have arrested a 75 year old man for the alleged crime of abuse within the family.
On Friday, a woman called in a complaint to the police that her husband was constantly making phone threats to both her and their son. The man said he wanted to meet and the woman finally agreed.
However, undercover police officers went to the arranged meeting place instead of the woman where they met 75 year old A.P.V. A routine search revealed that the man was carrying a knife with a ten centimetre blade.
The detainee, displaying psychotic tendencies, was subsequently taken to the psychiatric unit of the local hospital.
