The Councillor for Education and Culture, Gema García, has met with the provincial delegate for Education to put the case forward for various repairs to the electrical systems in several schools in the municipality, such things being the responsibility of the Junta de Andalucia.
The college Las Maravilla in Maro and one in the Barriada de Los Poetas both apparently need the whole electrical system replacing and the patio of the Maro school needing new equipment.
The Association of Parents in Maro has also requested a meeting with the provincial delegate to discuss a number of issues including the appointment of an English teacher.
