The Sierra Nevada ski resort is expecting around 10,000 visitors this weekend with hotel occupancy reported to be 85%.
There are 46 pistes, a total length of 52.8 kilometres, and 16 lifts open this weekend and the snow is between 20 cms and 1 metre in depth. Snow is expected during the weekend at altitudes above 1,800 metres.
