Saturday is the XXVII Milla de Navidad ‘Memorial Miguel Prados Ruiz’ and the V ‘Fit Forever’ Walk, both starting and finishing on the Balcón de Europa.
The mile race starts at 16:00 and the walk starts at 17:25, both events following the same route. With roadworks in calle El Barrio, calle Diputación will have two lanes for the athletes, one there and one back.
The winners of each of the 23 categories in the mile race will be presented with a ham, the top six finishers in each category will be presented with trophies and there is a €100 prize for anyone setting a new overall record.
Registration for the race is up to 30 minutes before the race and the entry fee is €1. Registration for the walk is from 16:00 and there will be gifts for all participants as well as a prize draw at the end of the event.
