A 50 year old German national has been detained in connection with the discovery in Málaga of the corpse of lawyer Salvador Andrés Reina, the body being found in a suitcase in the trunk of a car.
Salvador Andrés Reina disappeared last weekend under mysterious circumstances. The body was found on Thursday in a car parked near the Málaga bus station and showed signs of violence.
The motive for the killing is not yet known but one hypothesis being put forward is that the detainee may have visited Salvador Andrés Reina at his office last Friday posing as a client and then forced him to withdraw money from a number of bank accounts. The investigation continues.
