The renewable energy company Gadir Solar has announced its intention to convert the temporary lay-off of employees, valid until May 9th, into a permanent dismissal of the 196 workforce after taking the decision to close down its operations.
Under the new government labour laws, if no agreement is reached between all parties in the next two weeks then the plant will close and another 196 will join the ranks of the unemployed.
