Businessman arrested in Sanlúcar de Barrameda for selling contracts to illegal immigrants

National Police in Sanlúcar de Barrameda have arrested a local businessman engaged in selling preliminary work contracts to Senegalese immigrants so that they could apply for residency in Spain.

The illegal immigrants paid between €850 and €1,000 for the preliminary contracts as a means of being able to apply for residency. The businessman, who has no prior record, has been charged with fraud and offences against the rights of workers.
