Around 550 people have attended in the region of 50 workshops held in the period from last September to the end of June 2012 and yesterday there was a gathering at the Giner de los Rios Centre in calle Diputación for the awarding of diplomas.
Most of the workshops have been held in the Maria Campoamor Multi-purpose centre in calle Carabeo. The workshops were not only intended as learning exercises but also as a diversion and an opportunity for people to meet.
A new series of workshops will begin in September and anyone interested in teaching a workshop should contact the Centro Municipal de Información a la Mujer on the third floor of the Town Hall in calle Carmen. The deadline for submissions is July 30th 2012.
