Construction has started to finish off the old miners’ houses (casas de los mineros) in Fuente del Esparto, the work being carried out by the local company Antelo.
Once finished, and completion is currently expected in September, these old houses will become a rural hostel with 20 places.
The idea is to promote rural tourism as an alternative to the usual sand, sun and sea with a number of activities planned for the area.
