Alleged ETA member Beñat Atorrasagasti Ordóñez has been arrested in Edinburgh, Scotland, in a joint operation by the Guardia Civil and Scottish police.
Ordóñez was the subject of a European Arrest Warrant relating to the transporting of people and materials between Spain and France. He fled to France in 2001 after a counterterrorist operation carried out by the Guardia Civil.
In France, Beñat Atorrasagasti Ordóñez joined the local French ETA and in 2008 was sentenced to five years in prison.
