The Mayor of Vélez-Málaga, Francisco Delgado, has announced measures to try and stem the decline in public transport passenger numbers.
The proposals include having more buses on the most popular route – Line 1 between Vélez-Málaga and Torre del Mar via the Hospital – and less buses on the least used route – Line 4 Almayate-Torre del Mar-Caleta de Vélez.
A study will also be made of the existing bus stops on the various routes.
