An abandoned warehouse in the Zángano area of Alhaurín el Grande, used to store cardboard, caught fire on Saturday evening.
The fire began at around 22:10 and was extinguished by 03:30 on Sunday morning, although firemen remained to cool down the building.
There were no injuries and it was not necessary to evacuate anyone in the area from their homes.
