The management of the Regional Hospital Carlos Haya in Málaga has filed a complaint (denuncia) in relation to a toxic spill at he hospital on Sunday evening which, it alleges, was an act of sabotage.
Six patients had to be transferred from one of the wards after staff in the Nephrology Unit noticed the spill and informed the police and Fire Brigade. Fortunately no-one was injured in the incident.
The spill of some sort of toxic irritant coincided with the start of an indefinite strike by workers of the cleaning company.
