Police in Madrid have arrested a 47 year old school cycling monitor for the alleged sexual abuse of 14 minors. He has been remanded in custody without bail.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the man used his position of trust to abuse students aged between 8 years and 14 years. After school excursions he would invite students back to his home to shower where he took photos and recorded situations using hidden cameras.
The investigation was developed by Interpol and Europol and began after it became known that someone was involved in the sharing of child pornography. The Spanish police then traced matters to a particular house and a raid was authorised. During the raid, police seized photos and videos of naked children which had been taken in the home.
