The Department of Youth has organised a Maroween photo competition open to anyone aged between 14 years and 35 years with a first prize of €70 and a second prize of €30.
The competition is open until December 3rd and the entries will be on display in the Home and Community Centre in Maro. The winner will be decided on December 8th by a public vote.
Entries, in black and white or colour, must be on paper and with a minimum size of 13cm x 8cm. Entries, up to three per person, must be original, unpublished and the only enhancements allowed are those relating to contrast, hue and brightness in order to improve image quality.
Entries can be handed in to the Youth Information Centre, calle Cristo 12-1 and the photos must be accompanied by a paper containing name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth. They can be handed in from 10:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:00-14:00 on Fridays.
