A 56 year old man has been arrested in Málaga city on suspicion of sexually abusing two minors in a public park. He was apprehended by the mothers of the children concerned.
The children were playing near a main road in the company of their mothers when they encountered and recognised a man who, a week earlier, had allegedly sexually molested them. The mothers detained the man until the police arrived on the scene.
According to the investigation, the three boys, aged between 9 and 13 years, had been approached by the man while they were playing in the park. The man allegedly suggested touching them in an appropriate manner.
The youngest boy ran away but the other two remained and the alleged abuse took place. The children did not tell their parents immediately out of fear, and added that the man had returned to the park on several occasions since the incident took place.
