The Council is once again asking the Junta de Andalucia to hand over €1,528,407.80 to launch the Employment Workshop ‘Acueducto del Águila’ and the School Workshop ‘Nerja Sierramar’, the motion being passed unanimously.
The workshop programme was supposed to start in November 2011 or, at the very latest, January 2012. It is now November and there has been no news from the regional authority.
The Council says that the programme would lead to employment for 87 Nerjeños.
