Those people required to pay IBI (rates) should shortly receive a letter asking if you wish to pay the IBI general rates for 2013 by one of the following methods: In 2 instalments, April and October; in 3 instalments, April, July and October or in 11 monthly instalments from January to November inclusive.
The application must by made before December 31st 2012. You will need to fill in the relevant parts of the letter and take it to the Local Tax Office (Patronato de Recaudacion), in Calle Axarquía 3, opposite the entrance to avenida Castilla Perez (just before Supersol).
You can also do this online if you so wish at www.prpmalaga.es or by calling 902 152 000. If you wish to pay as usual in one payment (due between July and September) then just ignore the letter.
