According to the Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, the Secretary of State for the Environment and the winning consortium have apparently signed the contract for the design and construction of the sewage plant, this occurring on 12/12/12.
The consortium now has three months, namely until March 12, 2013, to produce a final draft project for submission to the Ministry of Environment.
The Ministry will then review, study and, where necessary, amend the final draft project. Once approved, the contract can then be formally signed and actual construction can finally begin.
