Nieves Bueno Rico has taken up her post as the new comptroller for the Council, replacing José Luis Sánchez Casado who is moving to a new position in the Canary Islands.
Nieves Bueno Rico is from Torrox and served as comptroller in Nerja from March 2008 to January 2009 before moving to work for the municipality of Dúrcal in Granada. One of the main priorities at the moment is to finalise the budget for this year and get it approved.
