After 35 days of strikes by the rubbish collectors in El Coronil, Sevilla, three hundred tons of garbage is piled up on the streets and the Ministry of Health has detected eight new areas where there is a ‘health risk’.
The Mayor of El Coronil, Jerónimo Guerrero, has said that masks will be distributed to residents if the situation is not rectified immediately.
The leader of SAT, Diego Cañamero, only admits that there was one possible area where a health risk existed and that his members assisted in cleaning up the site.
