Ronda Council has invested €250,000, of which fifty percent was funded by the Junta de Andalucia, in improvements to sporting facilities in the town. The works being finalised date back to 2009, so are a little behind schedule.
Works have been carried out on the roof of the sports facility El Fuerte which suffered problems during heavy rains and solar panels have been installed to provide the heating for the indoor swimming pool.
