At the XXIX Día del Níspero held at the weekend in the town of Sayalonga, Málaga province, the Nerja Caves Foundation was presented with an award, the ‘Nispero de Honor’.
The award was presented by the president of the Municipalities of the Axarquia, Oscar Medina, to the Nerja Councillor for Tourism and spokesman for the Nerja Caves Foundation, Berardo Pozuelo.
Other recipients of awards were the charitable group Caritas and local practitioner Virginia Márquez.
