The Council has awarded the concession for the Casa de Los Mineros hostel complex at Fuente del Esparto and the bar located at El Pinarillo to the company which already operates the tourist lodge Peña Escrita, en Almuñécar.
Casa de Los Mineros has twenty beds divided into five modules, as well as lounge and other recreational areas.
The hostel is expected to open in a few weeks once the contractor takes possession and puts in the necessary equipment.
