The Council has approved the signing of agreements with three consumer associations for 2013, these being the Association of Consumers and Housewives Al-Andalus, the Association of Consumers in Action Facua-Málaga and the Consumers Union of Malaga-UCE.
The main objectives of these agreements is to provide users with all the necessary information on consumer issues, for which there will be training programmes and information campaigns.
The agreements also provide advice on the handling of consumer complaints, with the possibility that legal advisors from the various associations will travel to Nerja to resolve disputes.
