Two octogenarians were found dead on Sunday morning at their home in calle Muñoz Sepúlveda in Pozoblanco, Córdoba.
The woman, 81 year-old Remedios Bernía, was found in the living room and had suffered stab wounds. Her husband, 80 year-old Manuel Luciano Herruzo, was found in another room with no apparent signs of violence. A autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
The woman apparently suffered from Alzheimer’s and the man from depression and it is possible that this is a case of domestic violence, although there were no prior complaints of abuse on record.
