At the Andalucia Athletics Championships held in Nerja over the weekend, the Club Nerja de Atletismo-Cueva de Nerja-UMA came away with a magnificent total of 42 medals, with 14 being of the gold variety.
There were golds for; Lorena Aguilar (2) Jose Heredia, Manuel Florido, Maribel Perez, Eugenia Galan, Virginia Martin, Marta Casanova, Carolina Sánchez, Jesús Brenes, Juan Carlos Moreno , Miguel Marin, Pedro Redondo and Fancisco López.
There were silver medals (17) for; Ruben Sánchez (2), Alvaro Fernández, Ossama Rmidi, Carlos Martin, Francisco Espartero, Jose Heredia, Pilar Cortacero (2), Inma Cantero0, Maria Jose Redaño, Desire Valderrama, Candela Guijarro, Isabel Robles, Cristina Benavides, Maria Jose Gomez and Alba Sánchez.
Bronze medals (11) went to; Fernando Perez, Raul Navarro, Guillermo Roldan, Carlos Martin, Angel Antequera, Sergio Sánchez, Araceli López, Maria Serrano, Yesenia Cortes,Maria Jose Gomez and Alba Sánchez
