Around 150 pupils in years 3, 4 and 5 at the Narixa school will not have a normal start to the new academic year as work being carried out on the premises by the Junta de Andalucia will not be finished in time.
The actual construction work is scheduled to end on September 10th, the start of the new term, but the plastering, painting and general cleaning up will still have to be carried out. The Council lamented the lack of foresight shown by the regional authority.
