Newly formed in Nerja is the Theatre Association Balcón de Europa and it will be fully operational as from October 15th in La Sala Fabrica in calle Antonio Ferrandis ‘Chanquete’.
Head of the theatre company is Juan Salvador Gómez, director of the Maria Zambrano Theatre Company in Vélez-Málaga for twenty years. He said that the new association will follow two paths, one being the staging of plays and the other being pedagogy through workshops.
The workshops will be open to anyone 16 years of age or older and will be run by Nerja actress Rocío Delgado. The workshop will end with the staging of a play at the Nerja Cultural Centre, calle Granada 45.
The first meeting of the new association will take place on Monday October 15th at 19:00 in the Sala La Fábrica but anyone interested can already register either in person at the Nerja Cultural Centre or by emailing [email protected].
