Rough seas, a frequent occurrence at this time of year, prevented divers from taking part in the The IX Seabed Cleaning on Sunday and they will try again next Sunday, although with a fewer number of participants.
The day was not a complete disaster, though, as the volunteers who turned up were set to work cleaning the beach areas from El Playazo to Maro.
All those who took part on Sunday received a t-shirt, a certificate and lunch on Burriana beach.
