Scruffs Nerja 2013, organised by the Costa Animal Society, takes place on Saturday from 13:00 at the market site in Almijara II.
Registration for the various competition categories can be made from midday on Saturday and the entry fee is 5 euros.
The competitions will begin at 13:00. There will be prizes for pedigree and non-pedigree as well as for best costume, dog and owners look-alike and best six legs, namely dog and owner.
There will also be obedience and agility displays, donkey rides and, of course, plenty to eat and drink. A fun day for all the family.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed until the November 9th.
