Five children and a pregnant woman were among the passengers on board a small inflatable boat intercepted off the coast of Granada on Sunday evening.
The pregnant woman was transferred to the Hospital Comarcal in Motril by Red Cross officials for a routine medical examination. The passengers, all of sub-Saharan origin, were said to be generally in good health.
The small boat was first located by a Maritime Rescue plane and then intercepted by the vessel ‘Salvamar Hamal’.
