Málaga Provincial Council has earmarked €310,000 for the residential and day care centre for the elderly, a project said to be in its final phase.
The funds form part of the Special Plan to Boost Economy (PEIE), a package worth €485,208 which will also serve to renovate two play areas and the asphalting of the paseo Pablo Ruiz Picasso.
Funds totalling €522,486 are also being made available under the Provincial Plan for Assistance and Cooperation 2013, which will see such projects as the asphalting of the carril de Los Llanos, urbanisation works around ‘Torre Derecha’ and improvements to the area near the river to permit sporting activities.
Algarrobo will benefit from €35,000 for an Employment Plan, €55,913 to repair the Los Villares rural road and €14,631 for equipment for the home for the elderly.
