The Council is carrying out cleaning works at the mouth of the rio Chillar and, at a later stage when the works are adjudicated, at the mouth of the rio Seco.
The clean-up at the mouth of the rio Chillar, which is the responsibility of the municipality, has already started. The rio Seco falls under the Junta de Andalucia, but as the regional government is non-cooperative on the matter, the Council will carry out the task as usual.
The objective is to clear up the areas before heavy rains arrive.
