Two sub-Saharan migrants were rescued this morning after their small dinghy capsized in heavy seas in the Strait of Gibraltar. A third person is still missing.
The inflatable dinghy capsized in heavy seas, with winds up to 90 kph. Two people were rescued by the Maritime Services but a third person from the boat is missing.
The port of Tarifa is currently closed although the traditional slow ferries are still running between Algeciras and Ceuta and Tangier.
